Program Fees and Enrolment
Pricing for individuals registering for programs supplied through ComplianceNet - FTA will be at the published rate on the website.
No enrolment into any program will be completed until full payment has been received.
Upon receipt of the full program fee Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd agrees to:
- Provide a receipt (tax invoice)
- Confirm the program enrolment
- Confirm the program commencement and end date
- Provide access to the program materials and assessments
- Provide technical support to participants throughout the enrolment
- Mark and provide results on the submitted online assessment tasks
- Issue results and a Certificate of Completion upon satisfactory completion of the program requirements.
Special offers and discounts may be marketed from time to time; no offers or discounts will be applied retrospectively to program purchases made prior to the start date of any offer or discount.
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd reserves the right to suspend access to the program in the event that a participant fails to pay any part of the program fees, this includes withholding a Certificate of Completion and the issuing of candidate records and statements until program fees are paid in full.
Each ComplianceNet - FTA program will remain open for you to use for training or reference purposes for a period of 365 days from your enrolment date.
Confidentiality and privacy of information required for payment of fees
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd does not store or keep credit card or financial information provided for payment processing purposes. We will make all reasonable efforts to keep all personal information that we have about you secure and to ensure that any of our employees or agents who have access to information about you do not make any unauthorised use, modification, reproduction or disclosure of that information.
We will only disclose information that we have about you to the extent specifically required by law or for the purposes of this agreement (including disclosing information in connection with any query or claim).
Information provided by you is considered confidential and will not be divulged to any third party, unless required by law, nor will it be sold.
All program administration fees will be included in the published rate on the website.
Provider default - If ComplianceNet - FTA cannot offer or continue a program
Where Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd is in a “default” situation such as cancellation of a program, we will offer an alternate place or a refund. We will discuss this with you and come to an arrangement.
A refund payment will be processed within a maximum of 4 weeks (20 working days) from the date on the refund calculation notice.
Refunds are not available after the enrolment has been paid for and the enrolment has been completed.
Where a company on behalf of an employee has purchased the training and that employee is no longer required to undertake the training a transfer to another employee may be made provided that the original employee has not accessed the program. An administration fee of $10 applies for each enrolment transfer; the administration fee is to be paid in advance.
For individuals who have purchased a program that they no longer wish to undertake, a transfer to another ComplianceNet - FTA program may be requested, provided that they have not accessed the original program. An administration fee of $10 applies for each program transfer; the administration fee is to be paid in advance.
Special circumstances for program refunds
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd has the discretion to approve refunds if the customer would be unreasonably disadvantaged if not granted a refund - for example where a customer meets with a serious misadventure, serious illness, hospitalisation or special circumstances that have been discussed and agreed upon between the customer and the Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd Agent.
The following circumstances would not be accepted for a refund:
- Change in work hours
- Job change or retrenchment
- Moving interstate
- Technology barriers which mean you are having difficulty completing the program
- Language or writing barriers which were not declared at application which mean you are having difficulty completing the course.
The final decision is at the Discretion of Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd’s Managing Director.
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd do not warrant, guarantee or represent the nature, completeness or accuracy of any information or materials contained on this website or any related or linked websites or any service available at or from this website.
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd do not assume and (to the extent permitted by law) exclude all liability and responsibility for any loss or damage suffered in any way by any person relying on any information, products or services provided or omitted by ComplianceNet Pty Ltd through this website. Limitation of liability

Rights which cannot be excluded
Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd do not attempt to exclude any rights or remedies which, due to the operation of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 or similar State and Territory legislation, cannot be excluded. ComplianceNet Pty Ltd exclude all other conditions and warranties implied by custom, statute or the general law. To the extent permitted by law, ComplianceNet Pty Ltd liability for breach of any implied warranty or condition which cannot be excluded is limited at the option of ComplianceNet Pty Ltd to the following:
- In the case of services supplied or offered by Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd, (1) the supply of the services again, or (2) the payment of the cost of having services supplied again; and
- In the case of goods supplied or offered by Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) Pty Ltd, (1) the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, (2) the repair of such goods, (3) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods, or (4) the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired.
